Trinitas School of Nursing has again been designated as a National League for Nursing (NLN) Center of Excellence (COE) in Nursing Education for 2020-2024 in the category of “Creating Environments that Enhance Student Learning and Professional Development.”

The curriculum has two program tracks. The Generic RN Track is offered in both the day and evening for individuals wishing to become a Registered Professional Nurse. The LPN-To-RN track is for students who currently possess a valid LPN license and would like to become a Registered Professional Nurse. The LPN-RN program track is offered in the evening. Students may enroll as full-time or part-time students. Weekend clinical options are available in both tracks.

Day students begin classes/clinical at 8AM and end at approximately 2PM.
Evening students start at 5:30PM and end approximately 11:30PM.
Weekend clinical experience start at 7AM and end at 7PM.

Academic advisement and learning resources are available to all Trinitas School of Nursing students. The Learning/Simulation Center and Computer Center are open daily and weekday evenings when school is in session. Hours are limited on the weekends.

Financial Aid is available through Union County College. Nursing scholarships are available through the School of Nursing. Please refer to the appropriate tabs on this website for more information.

GRADUATE/EMPLOYER SURVEY/LICENSING EXAMINATION DATA
The most recent survey of the graduates and their employers states that a majority of the graduates and their employers ranked the graduates’ performance as good to excellent in nursing care categories.

Ninety-five (95%) percent of the graduates from 1990 to 2016, over 25 years and 54 graduating classes, have passed the National Council Licensing Examination for RN Licensure on first writing.
